In Bihar, the water level of the Ganges and other rivers has increased rapidly in more than 20 districts, including Patna, creating a flood-like situation. Water has entered homes and shops in many areas.

Light to moderate rain is expected in the Bikaner division, while light rain is expected in some places in the Jodhpur division. The area of pressure over southwestern Bihar and Uttar Pradesh is also affecting the weather in Rajasthan.
Due to continuous rain for the past two days in Jammu and Kashmir, the Amarnath Yatra has been temporarily suspended. The journey is closed from Pahalgam and Baltal base camps. The Border Roads Organisation is constantly engaged in repairing the route so that the journey can be started again soon.
