Delhi-NCR Weather Turns Pleasant with Rain, Alerts Issued for Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh

Delhi and the NCR region have once again experienced refreshing rain and b winds, making the weather pleasant. People have found significant relief from the humid heat that has persisted for the past few days.

Delhi-NCR Weather Update: The monsoon has regained momentum across the country. In Delhi-NCR, the weather has turned delightful due to torrential rains and b winds, providing relief to people from the humid heat. The temperature has dropped due to the rain, giving people respite from the heat for a few days. On the other hand, a heavy rain alert has been issued for Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh, which may disrupt public life in some parts of these states.

Weather in Delhi-NCR Takes a Favorable Turn

Delhi and the NCR region recorded good rainfall in the past 24 hours. Along with this, a drop in temperature was observed due to b winds. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky will remain cloudy on July 19 and 20, and there may be light rain or drizzle. The maximum temperature can remain up to 35 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature will remain around 26 degrees.

The Meteorological Department has stated that there is a possibility of continuous rain or thundershowers in Delhi-NCR from July 21 to July 23. During this period, the temperature will fall further, and the maximum temperature can remain between 33 and 34 degrees Celsius. This may provide relief to people from humidity. Currently, the monsoon remains active in the capital and surrounding areas, and the next few days will be relieving.

Heavy Rain Alert in Rajasthan, Red Alert in Several Districts

The monsoon has become fully active in Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, the area of depression formed over northwest Madhya Pradesh and southwest Uttar Pradesh is moving towards Rajasthan. Heavy to very heavy rain is expected in the eastern and western parts of the state during the next 24 hours. In the past 24 hours, light to moderate rain and heavy rain at some places have been recorded in many areas of Rajasthan. Alerts have been issued for districts like Jaipur, Kota, Udaipur, and Ajmer.

Difficulties Increase in Himachal Pradesh Due to Heavy Rain, Orange Alert Issued

The monsoon is in full swing in Himachal Pradesh. Due to heavy rain in the state, traffic has been disrupted on about 250 roads. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert from July 21 to 23. Under this, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in different areas. Apart from this, warnings of landslides and rising water levels in rivers have also been issued in some areas. The state government has advised local people and tourists to take precautions and avoid traveling to hilly areas.

Phase of Heavy Rain Continues in Uttar Pradesh as Well

The monsoon has also picked up pace in Uttar Pradesh. Good rainfall has been recorded in many districts including Prayagraj, Ballia, Bareilly, Agra, Jhansi, Kanpur, and Barabanki in the past 24 hours. 5.8 millimeters of rain was recorded in the capital Lucknow, which led to a drop in temperature. The maximum temperature was 30.7 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 25.6 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert for Prayagraj, Banda, Chitrakoot, Jhansi, Lalitpur, and Mahoba districts in the next 24 hours. Heavy rain is also expected in Kanpur, Mathura, Agra and 10 other districts.
