Indore Businessman Murdered on Honeymoon: Wife and Lover Orchestrated Plot

Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshi's murder was a plot orchestrated by his wife, Sonam, and her lover, Raj. They paid a contract of 2 million rupees to have him killed while on his honeymoon.

Sonam Raghuvanshi Inside Story: A shocking revelation has emerged in the murder case of Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshi. His wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi, conspired with her lover, Raj Kushwaha, to murder her husband. Sonam lured Raja to Meghalaya under the guise of a honeymoon trip and, with the help of hired killers, had him murdered in a secluded location.

Murder Plan Forged After Marriage

Police investigations revealed that while Sonam and Raja were married on May 11th, the murder plot was hatched even before the wedding. Their communication began through the Raghuvanshi app. Their engagement took place on February 11th, and it was then that Sonam decided to eliminate Raja.

Murder Plan Finalized on May 16th

Just five days after the wedding, on May 16th, Sonam and Raj finalized their murder plan. Sonam convinced Raja to go to Shillong for their honeymoon, planning to commit the crime there. The contract killers were summoned to Guwahati beforehand.

Contract Killers Ordered an Axe Online

Three contract killers were already in Guwahati. They ordered a 'dao' (small axe) online to carry out the murder. Sonam sent them the location and called them to the vicinity. The accused confessed to the police that Sonam had promised them 2 million rupees for Raja's murder.

'He Must Be Killed' – Sonam's Cruel Face

On May 23rd, Sonam took her husband, Raja, to a hilltop in Korsa under the pretense of a photoshoot. When the three accused arrived and expressed reluctance due to fatigue, Sonam took 15,000 rupees from Raja's pocket, gave it to them, and said, "He must be killed." Sonam then retreated, and once they reached a secluded spot, she shouted, "Kill him!"

How the Police Found the Clues

Meghalaya police obtained CCTV footage showing Sonam standing some distance from Raja, chatting on the phone with someone. When police examined call records, the connection led to her lover, Raj, and the three contract killers. Location tracking revealed all the accused were in Indore.

Destroyed Phone After Murder, Planned Escape to Nepal

After the murder, Sonam destroyed her mobile phone to avoid leaving any clues. The accused returned by train, and Sonam traveled alone from Shillong to Varanasi and then to Ghazipur. The police investigation also revealed that Sonam was planning to escape to Nepal, but upon learning of the arrest of her lover and the other accused, she surrendered in Ghazipur.
