Iran's defense minister has expressed distrust in the regional ceasefire. He stated that Iran does not seek an attack, but is ready to give a decisive response if necessary.

Ceasefire: Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, expressing skepticism about the regional ceasefire, clarified that his country does not trust this ceasefire. He said that Iran is fully prepared for any attack and will give a decisive and crushing response if needed. He conveyed the same message in talks with his Turkish and Malaysian counterparts.

Iran's Clear Message: Distrust of the Ceasefire

Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh made an important statement on Monday in which he expressed doubt about the stability of the ongoing ceasefire in the region. He said that Iran does not trust this ceasefire and is fully vigilant and prepared to deal with any potential attack.

He clarified that the Islamic Republic does not intend to spread war in the region, but it will not compromise on its security. If Iran is attacked, its response will not only be swift but also crushing.

Concerns Expressed in Regional Talks

The Iranian defense minister made these remarks during phone conversations with his counterparts from Turkey and Malaysia. In separate conversations with Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler and Malaysian Defense Minister Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Nasirzadeh made it clear that Iran is fully prepared to deal with any situation.

During the conversation with the Turkish defense minister, Nasirzadeh said, "We are cautious about the duration of the ceasefire. The Islamic Republic does not trust this ceasefire. Therefore, we have prepared strategies for various possible scenarios." He also added that Iran does not want to promote war, but it will not compromise its vigilance.

Tense Situation and Potential Confrontation

Iran has previously stated that if its borders, interests, or allied organizations are attacked, it will not hesitate to respond. Nasirzadeh's latest statement indicates that Tehran is no longer prepared to remain calm, relying on the ceasefire.

Support Received from Malaysia

In talks with Malaysian Defense Minister Mohamed Khaled Nordin, the Iranian defense minister expressed his displeasure with the policies of Israel and the United States. He appreciated Malaysia's role in which it condemned Israel's aggressive stance.

The Malaysian defense minister also made it clear in this conversation that his country considers Iran a reliable friend. He said, "We hold Israel responsible for this conflict, and that is why Malaysia has bly condemned this war from the beginning."

Discussions on Nuclear Talks Also

Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler also expressed his views on the nuclear issue during the conversation. He said that he hopes that the nuclear talks will end in an agreement that is beneficial not only for Iran but also for the entire region. He welcomed the ceasefire but also acknowledged that there is no guarantee that this situation will be permanent.

Prepared for Retaliation

According to the Iranian defense minister, the Islamic Republic has made security preparations, keeping in mind several strategic scenarios. This includes keeping missile defense systems, military structures, and intelligence networks fully alert. It must be fully prepared to defend itself amidst conflicts imposed by Israel and the United States. Nasirzadeh also said that if attacked, Iran would give a decisive and harsh response.
