The new footage shows the female receptionist slapping the accused's female relative first and then verbally abusing her, after which the angered man behaved violently towards her.

Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam has reacted to the matter on social media. Sharing the new and complete video, he appealed to people not to convict anyone without understanding the facts. He said that we should all rise above politics and fulfill our social responsibility. Nirupam questioned, are we going back to the primitive age, where someone is declared a criminal without investigation?
Sanjay Nirupam also said that the police should conduct an impartial investigation and analyze the role of both parties so that no innocent person is caught and the guilty are punished.
