The organization has unanimously decided that until Imran Ansari publicly apologizes and retracts his statement, his social boycott will continue. During this period, he will neither be invited to nor receive any support from any religious platform, gathering, or program.

He stated that the video that is going viral has twisted his words and is being propagated in a wrong context. Ansari clarified that he has never made any disrespectful remarks against the Sahaba of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and that the allegations against him are completely baseless.
Ansari also said that he fully supports the fatwas of Ayatollah Sistani and Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, which uphold the dignity of Ahl al-Sunnah and prevent any kind of insulting remarks against them. Finally, Ansari stated, "My intention was not to hurt anyone. I am completely clear about my understanding of religion and Islam. If anyone has been hurt by my statement, I will introspect on this."
