Due to continuous rain since Friday night in the capital Bhopal, many areas are waterlogged. Waterlogging on the roads has disrupted traffic. Water has entered homes in many low-lying areas. There are reports of water entering the bungalow of Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar in Gwalior. Due to the rising water level in the dams, the gates of several reservoirs have had to be opened, leading to flood-like conditions in the low-lying areas.

According to the Meteorological Department, these districts may receive more than 8 inches of rainfall in the next 24 hours:

According to the Meteorological Department report, these districts are likely to experience very heavy rainfall:
- Guna, Ashoknagar, Vidisha, Sehore, Narmadapuram
- Betul, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Jabalpur
- Seoni, Balaghat, Mandla, Dindori, Anuppur
- Umaria, Katni, Maihar, Mauganj, Sidhi, Singrauli
There is a possibility of dangers such as waterlogging and landslides here.
Districts in Yellow Alert
A warning of heavy rain has been issued in these districts, which may affect public life:
- Bhopal, Gwalior, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Datia, Niwari
- Tikamgarh, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Indore, Ujjain
- Dewas, Khandwa and Harda
