The condition of the Mahmudpur-Nayepurwa road in Goshaiganj's Jaisinghpur area is deteriorating from bad to worse. For about twenty-five years, this road has been in a dilapidated state. Due to heavy rains and prolonged lack of repairs, large potholes have formed on the road, and gravel and boulders have come loose, making transit, especially for pedestrians and two-wheelers, dangerous and inconvenient.

Local residents have complained continuously, but no concrete action has been taken in previous years. Meanwhile, the Public Works Department (PWD) has conducted an inspection and prepared a detailed estimate (cost estimate) for the repair of this road, which has been sent to the government for approval.

Departmental Junior Engineer (JE) Ravi Maurya stated that road improvement work will commence as soon as approval is received from the government. Several residents, including villagers Dharmaraj Prajapati, Gajendra Prajapati, and Alok Kumar, have expressed hope that the repairs will be carried out soon so that people's daily commute can become smooth.
