Malayalam television actor Siddharth Venugopal has died after a prolonged battle with cancer. He had been undergoing treatment for approximately two years.
Actress Seema G Nair announced his death through a Facebook post, stating that Siddharth had been battling cancer for nearly two years. She said she had been actively involved in his treatment and care during this period and had made every possible effort, but ultimately had to accept the outcome.
Seema G Nair wrote on social media that she was deeply affected by his passing and that she had been continuously supporting his health over the past two years. In her message, she stated that Siddharth had passed to a place without pain and described the loss as difficult to bear.
Actor Kishor Satya also expressed condolences, stating on social media that the Malayalam television industry had lost a talented artist who had established a distinct identity among viewers. He noted that the film and television industry has extended support to artists during medical needs and described Siddharth’s death as a loss to the industry, offering prayers for his soul.
Siddharth Venugopal was known for his roles in Malayalam television serials “Kasthooriman” and “Bhagyajathakam,” where his performances received audience recognition. His acting style was regarded as natural and effective, contributing to his visibility in the industry.
He was born in the Chalakudy area of Thrissur district. He developed an interest in acting from an early age and began his career in theatre during his college years before moving into professional performance. He also worked as a presenter and later entered the television industry, where he received his first major opportunity with the support of producer Arun Ghosh.
