Prashant Kishor Predicts More Hardline BJP Leadership, Says Modi May Appear 'Softer' in the Future

Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraaj Party, has warned that the BJP leadership may become even more stringent in the future. He said that in the coming times, the new leadership will be considered even more hardline compared to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also mentioned that his party's padyatras (foot marches) have activated the opposition.

Prashant Kishor: Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraaj Party, said on Thursday that the BJP leadership may become even more hardline in the future. While interacting with the media in Patna, he compared the leadership of three eras—Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Lal Krishna Advani, and Narendra Modi—stating that in the coming 10–15 years, Modi's leadership will comparatively appear "softer." He also said that his party's padyatras have forced opposition leaders to take to the streets and have played a role in delivering social welfare schemes to the public.

Future of BJP Leadership: Modi May Also Appear Soft

Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraaj Party, recently said that in the coming 10–15 years, the BJP leadership may become even more rigid. He said that if people consider Lal Krishna Advani a hardliner today, then in the future, Narendra Modi will also appear soft in comparison to them.

Comparing the leadership of three eras, Kishor explained that Atal Bihari Vajpayee was considered a symbol of soft Hindutva, while Advani held a more hardline stance. In today's political perspective, these trends may move towards even more extremes.

Padyatras Activated the Opposition

Kishor also said in a media interaction in Patna that his party's padyatras are forcing the opposition to take to the streets. He stated that due to Jan Suraj's efforts, pensions were increased, cooks' salaries were doubled, and up to 125 units of electricity were made free.

He mentioned that earlier, while asking for votes, the RJD would show the fear of Modi and Nitish Kumar, while the BJP would ask for votes by showing the fear of Lalu Prasad Yadav in the elections. Now, there is increased discussion about public welfare and welfare schemes.

Prashant Kishor's Statement on BJP Leadership's Stance

Prashant Kishor said that this hardline stance of the BJP leadership may continue in the coming years. Elections in Bihar are likely to be held in October or November this year, although the Election Commission has not yet announced the date. According to Kishor, Jan Suraaj's activities have activated the opposition parties in front of the public.

He also added that Modi's influence may appear comparatively softer with the arrival of new leadership, which could further change the political landscape.
