Rajasthan CM Announces Increased Grants for Cowsheds, Incentives for Bullock Farming

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma participated in the Gau-Aradhan Mahotsav during his visit to Deeg and announced an increase in grants for cowsheds and incentives for farmers using bullocks for farming.

Deeg: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma participated in the Shri Krishna - Balram Gau-Aradhan Mahotsav organized in Guhana, Deeg district, and pledged for the protection and service of 'Gau Mata'. During this, he announced an increase in grants for registered cowsheds and an incentive amount for small and marginal farmers using bullocks for cultivation. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of preserving Sanatan culture and developing religious sites through the festival.

New Schemes for Cow Protection

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma stated that 'Gau Mata' is supreme in our culture and is considered a symbol of divinity. He announced an increase in the grant for registered cowsheds to Rs 50 per cow per day and Rs 25 per day for small calves. This decision is a significant and positive step by the government in the field of cow protection.

The Chief Minister further stated that this will not only ensure the protection of 'Gau Mata' but also provide financial assistance to farmers. He added that this government initiative will prove beneficial in strengthening the rural economy and for the agriculture-dependent community.

₹30,000 Incentive for Farmers for Bullock Farming

Bhajanlal Sharma also announced that in the budget year 2025-26, small and marginal farmers will be given an annual incentive of ₹30,000 for farming with bullocks. He stated that this would promote traditional agricultural practices and improve farmers' income.

The Chief Minister also assured farmers that the government would prioritize their problems and needs. He stated that this initiative is crucial for encouraging self-reliance in rural society.

Development of Religious and Cultural Tourism

The Chief Minister stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sanatan culture is being uplifted across the country. He cited the construction of the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, and the Mahakal Corridor as examples.

Bhajanlal Sharma also mentioned that the government has made special provisions in the budget for the development of Khatu Shyam Ji Temple, Poonchri Ka Loutha, and other prominent religious sites. Furthermore, the construction of the Shri Krishna Gaman Path will promote religious and cultural tourism.

Chief Minister's Statement on the Importance of Saints and Culture 

The Chief Minister stated that the saint community and their teachings play a vital role in preserving our culture. He listened to the Bhagwat Katha and described it as a path to attaining happiness, peace, and contentment in life.

The CM called upon the general public to pledge service to 'Gau Mata' and the preservation of culture. He stated that the ideals of Lord Shri Krishna and saints in our tradition provide us with moral and social direction.
