Royal Challengers Bengaluru registered a nine-wicket victory over UP Warriors in the Women’s Premier League 2026 match played at the DY Patil Stadium on Monday.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the toss and opted to bowl. UP Warriors were restricted to 143/5 in 20 overs following a disciplined bowling performance. The top order struggled early, with the team losing five wickets for 50 runs. Captain Meg Lanning scored 14, while Harleen Deol made 11 and Kiran Navgire scored 5.
A sixth-wicket unbeaten partnership of 93 runs between Deepti Sharma and Deandra Dottin stabilised the innings. Deepti Sharma scored an unbeaten 45 off 35 balls, while Dottin added 40 off 37 deliveries, taking UP Warriors to 143/5 at the end of 20 overs.

For Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Shreyanka Patil and Nadine de Klerk claimed two wickets each. Lauren Bell finished with figures of 1 for 16 from four overs.
Chasing 144, Royal Challengers Bengaluru made a fast start through openers Smriti Mandhana and Grace Harris. In the sixth over, Harris scored 32 runs off a single over bowled by Deandra Dottin, equalling the record for the most expensive over in Women’s Premier League history.
Grace Harris completed her half-century in 22 balls and scored 85 off 40 deliveries. Smriti Mandhana remained at the other end as Royal Challengers Bengaluru reached the target with the loss of one wicket, securing a nine-wicket win.
