Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), has reportedly moved his family from their home in Maharashtra ahead of a proposed protest in Delhi, amid security concerns and alleged threats received through social media.
According to sources, Dipke’s parents and other family members have left their ancestral residence in the Waluj area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and relocated to an undisclosed location. Their current whereabouts have not been made public. The move was reportedly made for security reasons.
Reports of alleged threats directed at Dipke and his family had surfaced on social media in recent days. Following the developments, local police reviewed the situation and put in place necessary security arrangements.
Dipke currently resides in Boston, United States. In recent months, he has conducted online campaigns focusing on issues related to the education system and competitive examinations. His initiatives received support from a large number of students and young people on social media.
According to reports, the Cockroach Janata Party gained millions of followers within a short period, drawing nationwide attention. Dipke has sought accountability from the central government over alleged irregularities in the NEET examination and other issues related to the education system.
Earlier, Dipke’s parents had publicly urged him to stay away from politics and controversies. His father, Bhagwanrao Dipke, and mother, Anita Dipke, had said that he should focus on his professional life and career.
Following reports of alleged threats to the family, police had increased security outside their residence in Waluj. Reports indicate that police monitoring around the property continues even after the family’s relocation.
Dipke has announced plans to organize a protest in Delhi. He is reportedly in contact with the relevant authorities and police regarding the permissions required for the event.
He has claimed that several individuals associated with education and social issues may participate in the programme. Discussions regarding the proposed protest continue on social media, while security agencies are monitoring the situation and remain prepared to address any potential law-and-order challenges.
