Madhya Pradesh Government Transfers IAS Officers, Reshuffles Chief Minister's Office

The Madhya Pradesh government has taken a significant step towards making administrative work more efficient and effective, transferring 9 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers on Sunday. The most important aspect of this reshuffle is a major change in the Chief Minister's Office, where Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajesh Rajora has been removed and senior IAS officer Neeraj Mandloi has been appointed in his place. This decision is seen as part of the government's strategic plan, aimed at strengthening good governance.

Changes in the Chief Minister's Office

Despite being removed from the Chief Minister's Office, the state government has assigned Rajesh Rajora several important responsibilities. He has been appointed as the Additional Vice-President of the Narmada Valley Development Department. Along with this, he will also perform the duties of Managing Director of the Narmada Valley Development Authority and Head of Narmada Basin Project Company Limited. In addition, he will also hold the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary of the Water Resources Department. This new posting makes it clear that the government wants to take full advantage of his administrative experience.

Meanwhile, the responsibility of the Chief Minister's Office has now been given to Neeraj Mandloi. This change is considered a concrete initiative towards improving the functioning of the Chief Minister's Secretariat and implementing the government's priorities quickly.

New Departments for Other Officers

The transfer list released on Sunday assigned new responsibilities to several senior officers. These include:

•    Sanjay Dubey has been appointed as the new Additional Chief Secretary of the Urban Development and Housing Department.

•    Rakhi Sahay has been appointed as the new Secretary of the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC).
