Naresh Meena Bail: Naresh Meena, a figure once again prominent in Rajasthan politics, has finally received significant relief after eight months. The High Court has accepted Naresh Meena's bail plea concerning the violence that occurred in Samrawata village during the Deoli-Uniara assembly by-election. This petition was Naresh Meena's third attempt, and he has now been granted relief.

High Court Grants Bail, Clearing the Way for Release

This was Naresh Meena's third bail application. The court had previously rejected his petitions twice. This time, Justice Praveer Bhatnagar's single-judge bench heard the case and stated that the petitioner could be granted bail because the police had already filed the charge sheet in the case and the main investigation process was complete. Advocate Fatehram Meena bly advocated for Naresh Meena and presented all the facts before the court. The court found that the petitioner had been in jail for a long time and the trial could take some time; hence, he could be granted bail.

What Was the Whole Case About?

On November 13, 2024, a boycott of voting was announced in Samrawata village, Tonk district, during the Deoli-Uniara by-election. The villagers alleged that administrative officials were ignoring the village's problems. Naresh Meena also supported the villagers' decision. The dispute escalated when the villagers alleged that SDM Amit Choudhary had forced some villagers to vote. Enraged, Naresh Meena allegedly slapped the SDM. This incident gained momentum, and the atmosphere quickly became tense.

The Journey from Dharna to Violence

After slapping the SDM, Naresh Meena returned to the village and sat on a dharna (protest). The police then took him into custody. As soon as this news reached his supporters, a large number of people gathered, and the situation worsened. People tried to stop the police vehicles, and the dispute escalated.

Vehicles Set Ablaze

The entire incident took a violent turn when protestors set fire to several vehicles. The police retaliated with a baton charge and were also accused of pelting stones at the villagers. The situation became so serious that tension remained in the village for several hours.

Police Arrested, Bail Pleas Rejected Twice

The day after the violence, the police arrested Naresh Meena and filed an FIR against him at the Nagarfort police station. Subsequently, the matter went to court, but his bail applications were rejected twice. After spending several months in jail, he finally received relief from the High Court on his third attempt, and the path to his release from jail is now clear.

Political Circles in Turmoil

The bail of Naresh Meena has now created a stir in political circles as well. His supporters believe that Naresh Meena was framed under a political conspiracy, while the opposing group is questioning the decision. Some people also say that this case is not just about law and order but has become an example of a crisis of trust between public representatives and the administration.

Wave of Joy Among Supporters Following Court's Decision

As soon as the news of the bail from the High Court spread, a wave of joy swept through Naresh Meena's village and among his supporters. His supporters also welcomed the decision on social media. Sweets were distributed in Samrawata village, and celebrations took place with drums and music. The villagers say that Naresh Meena has always fought for their rights, and this time too, he did the same.

The Road Ahead

The question now is whether Naresh Meena will become politically active again or will learn from this incident and change his strategy. His supporters hope that he will continue his political journey with more strength. However, the legal process is still ongoing, and he will have to appear in court during the trial.
