Pak News: Following 'Operation Sindoor' approximately two months ago, Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has made a significant claim regarding India. He stated that in May 2025, India launched 11 missiles at a Pakistani airbase. Aircraft and Pakistani Air Force personnel were present at the airbase during the attack. However, he also admitted that no physical damage was caused by these missiles.
Revelation Before Religious Leaders
This disclosure was made on July 3, 2025, during a special meeting held on the occasion of Muharram. The meeting included Islamic scholars and Ulema of Pakistan. Sharing his sentiments during the meeting, Mohsin Naqvi said that when these missiles were launched by India, Allah helped Pakistan and no major damage occurred.
Naqvi's Statement – 'We Fought Bravely'
Mohsin Naqvi, on this occasion, praised the Pakistani army, saying that the army, under the leadership of Army Chief General Asim Munir, showed great bravery. Naqvi said that when the attack occurred, our Army Chief stood firm with complete confidence and clear thinking. He also said that if India attacks, Pakistan will respond fourfold.
'Our Aim Is Not to Harm India'
Naqvi further stated that Pakistan's intention is not to harm the common citizens of India or escalate tensions on the border. He said that Pakistan is a responsible nation and does not want to promote any kind of conflict.
Highlighting the Role of Religious Leaders
In the meeting held on the occasion of Muharram, Naqvi appreciated the role of Islamic scholars. He said that the role of these religious leaders is important in maintaining peace and tranquility. He added that just as law enforcement agencies work, religious leaders also help in maintaining peace and cooperation in society.
Examples of Reconciliation from Neighborhoods
Naqvi said that in Pakistan, religious leaders are engaged in mediating reconciliation between communities in every street and neighborhood. He said that often where the administration cannot reach, this religious leadership resolves problems. Naqvi himself has seen how these people have peacefully resolved many issues.
