Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become fully active for the assembly elections in Bihar. PM Modi will kickstart his election campaign today, Friday (October 24), from Samastipur and address two large public meetings.
Patna: In view of the Bihar Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch his election campaign today. On Friday, PM Modi will address two massive public meetings in Samastipur and Begusarai. This visit marks the beginning of campaigning for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar and is an opportunity to seek public support in the upcoming assembly elections.
Homage to Karpoori Thakur, then the election campaign begins
Prime Minister Modi's morning will begin from Karpoori Gram, where he will pay tribute to Bharat Ratna, the late Karpoori Thakur. On this occasion, Modi ji's presence is considered inspiring for Bihar's leaders and local public. After paying homage, PM Modi will commence his election campaign with public rallies.

PM Modi will address the public in two large rallies:
- Samastipur Rally: 12:15 PM
- Begusarai Rally: 2:00 PM
In these rallies, Modi ji will appeal to the people of Bihar to support NDA candidates. Political analysts say that the objective of this visit is not only to campaign for NDA candidates but also to send a clear message to the opposition. Earlier on Thursday, Prime Minister Modi interacted with young workers from Bihar through the 'Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot' (My Booth is the Strongest) program. In this virtual interaction, he harshly referred to the opposition alliance as 'Latbandhan' (alliance of quarrellers/fighters).
Modi said, "Those who call themselves 'Gathbandhan' (alliance), whom the people of Bihar call 'Latbandhan', only know how to fight. Their self-interest is paramount, and they do not care about the youth of Bihar." He also mentioned the challenges of Maoist and Naxalite terrorism in Bihar and stated that the NDA government has brought Bihar out of the darkness of 'Jungle Raj' (rule of the jungle/anarchy) into a new light of development.
Second Visit on October 30
The Prime Minister stated that in the past, the operation of schools, colleges, and hospitals was affected due to Maoist terror. Industrial development was also hindered. But after years of hard work, the NDA government has strengthened the situation of development and security in Bihar. Modi also said that since 2014, the NDA government has been continuously working for the development of Bihar and the entire country. He appealed to the youth and people of Bihar to ensure the state's progress by supporting the right candidates.
Prime Minister Modi's visit will not be limited to October 24. His second Bihar visit is scheduled for October 30, during which he will address large rallies in Muzaffarpur and Chhapra as well.
