UKSSSC Scaler Recruitment 2026: 200 Group-C Posts, Applications From September 22

UKSSSC has announced recruitment for 200 Group-C Scaler posts in Uttarakhand. Online applications will be accepted from September 22 to October 22, 2026, with selection through a Physical Efficiency Test and written examination.

The Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of 200 Scaler posts under Group-C. The online application process for UKSSSC Scaler Recruitment 2026 will begin on September 22, 2026, and candidates will be able to apply until October 22, 2026. Selection will be conducted through a Physical Efficiency Test followed by a written examination.

According to the notification issued by the commission, eligible candidates will be able to submit their applications online through the official UKSSSC website. Candidates must fulfil the prescribed educational qualification, age limit and other eligibility criteria for the recruitment.

Candidates applying for the Scaler post must have passed the Intermediate or equivalent examination from a board or council established by law or from a recognised school located in the state of Uttarakhand.

The candidate's age must not be below 18 years or above 28 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be eligible for age relaxation as per the applicable rules. Age will be calculated as of July 1, 2026.

The minimum height prescribed for male candidates is 163 cm, while the minimum height for female candidates is 152 cm.

For candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and candidates from the Gorkha, Nepali, Assamese, Ladakhi, Sikkimese, Bhutanese, Garhwali, Kumaoni, Naga and Arunachal Pradesh, Lahaul and Spiti, and Meghalaya categories, the minimum height is 152 cm for males and 145 cm for females.

Unreserved, General and Uttarakhand OBC candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 300. For Uttarakhand residents belonging to SC, ST, EWS and Divyang categories, the application fee has been fixed at Rs 150. Orphan candidates can apply without paying any fee.

The selection process will begin with a Physical Efficiency Test. Candidates who qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test will be allowed to appear for the written examination. The written examination will consist of multiple-choice questions.

Candidates selected for the Scaler post will receive a monthly salary of Rs 19,900 to Rs 63,200 under Level-02.
