Uttar Pradesh Politics: BJP Slams Samajwadi Party's 'PDA Pathshala' Initiative

Politics in Uttar Pradesh has heated up over the 'PDA Pathshala' (PDA School) initiative launched by the Samajwadi Party. BJP State President Bhupendra Chaudhary has directly attacked the SP, accusing the party of toying with children's education and future for its own political gains. He stated that instead of teaching about great figures, these schools are teaching children names of SP leaders, such as 'A for Akhilesh' and 'D for Dimple.' This is clearly an attempt to promote dynasty politics.

Bhupendra Chaudhary alleged that the Samajwadi Party weakened the education system even when it was in power, and the same attitude is being repeated again. He said that if the SP were concerned about the welfare of children, it would promote the education of great personalities like Abdul Kalam, rather than focusing on building the image of its own leaders.

Allegations and Counter-Allegations Regarding Dynasty Politics

The BJP leader said that the entire politics of the SP revolves around dynasty politics, and this same mentality is now being imposed on children through the 'PDA Pathshala.' He sarcastically remarked that the Samajwadi Party is unable to extend the scope of its politics beyond the family, while even a sensitive matter like education is being given a political color.

Controversy Escalates over PDA Pathshalas

It is noteworthy that the UP government has recently started merging government schools with very low student numbers. Protesting this decision, the Samajwadi Party has started 'PDA Pathshalas', which are being run near those same schools. In these schools, SP leaders are calling children in uniform and teaching them.

However, this initiative has also sparked controversy. Cases have been registered against SP leaders in Bhadohi and Kanpur for running 'PDA Pathshalas.' The government says that children's education will not be allowed to become a means of political propaganda.
