Bihar Vidhan Sabha Speaker: On Tuesday, BJP's senior leader Prem Kumar was elected as the Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. During the swearing-in ceremony, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav escorted him to the Speaker's chair. On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated Prem Kumar on his election and urged all members of the House to stand up and salute him in his honor.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said in the House, "It is a matter of great joy that Prem Kumar Ji has been elected as the Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly today.
