How to Make Delicious Cream Ladoos? Learn the Recipe
A creamy and rich ladoos recipe made with evaporated milk solids or semi-solid paneer is a favorite. It is easy to prepare without any complex ingredients. This can be made primarily for the festive season or for sharing with friends and family on any occasion.
Necessary ingredients
1 liter full-cream milk
5 tablespoons powdered sugar (or crushed sugar)
1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
2.5 tablespoons lemon juice
A pinch of saffron
6 almonds, chopped
For decoration
Chopped almonds
Recipe
Pour the milk into a heavy-bottomed pot and place it on the stovetop to heat. When the milk comes to a boil, reduce the heat. Then, add one tablespoon of lemon juice to the milk and stir. If the milk does not curdle, add the remaining lemon juice and stir. Once the milk curdles, cook it on low heat for 2 minutes and turn off the stove. Now, strain the curdled milk through a sieve into another container. Next, pour 1/3 of the curdled milk and the whey (water that separated out) into a pan and cook it on low heat.
Cook it until all the water from the curdled milk evaporates. Stir the mixture occasionally. Once all the water has evaporated, turn off the heat. Now add cardamom powder and saffron to the curdled milk and mix well. When the mixture cools down, add the almonds and powdered sugar, mixing thoroughly. Now, grease your hands with ghee. Take a small portion of the curdled milk mixture and shape it into ladoos. Place the ladoos on a plate. Repeat the process with the remaining mixture to make all the ladoos. Your cream ladoos are ready. Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Garnish the ladoos with chopped almonds before serving.
